Nicola Benedetti Debuts with London Symphony Orchestra

At the age of 18, Nicola Benedetti is already an accomplished performer, giving numerous recital and orchestral performances throughout the UK and abroad, to great critical acclaim. Nicola left the Yehudi Menuhin School at the end of year 2002, and has since been studying privately with Maciej Rakovski whilst living in London.

Her debut album with Daniel Harding and the London Symphony Orchestra includes a recording ofÊthe Szymanowski Violin Concerto No 1 (the very work with which she won the title of BBC Young Musician of the Year 2004) and was released in May 2005.
