Glimmerglass Op Presents Free Concert

Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.

The concert will be performed by the 28 members of Glimmerglass’ Young American Artists Program, accompanied at the piano by members of the Opera’s music staff.

The performance will include excerpts from the company’s 2007 Orpheus-inspired operas, Monteverdi’s “L’Orfeo,” the Gluck/Berlioz “Orphée et Eurydice,” Offenbach’s “Orpheus in the Underworld” and Philip Glass’ “Orphée,” as well as selections from the upcoming season and this summer’s Young American Artists recital series. -- www.glimmerglass.org
