Katzenjammer Return To Blackpool's Grand Theatre

Spectacular piano gymnastics, hilarious comic banter and a finale that's sure to go with a bang all combine as Katzenjammer, the four hands on one piano music and comedy duo, return to the Grand with an exclusive Christmas concert; MISTLETOE & RHYME.

With echoes of Victor Borge, Flanders and Swann, Hinge & Bracket, and even Les Dawson, Katzenjammer are the piano duo with a difference who will have you gasping and laughing through their arrangements of everything from Tchaikovsky and Liszt to 'Tequila' and Gracie Fields while the resulting tangle of hands and arms on the keyboard is projected onto a large screen so that the mesmerising display of their playing can be marvelled at.

Adding to the Yuletide celebration, Christmas party guests, including Barrie Rutter the voice with Northern soul, will punctuate the piano-forte proceedings with Christmas prose and verse.

To date, Kevin Farrell and Steven Worbey, collectively known as Katzenjammer, have performed to great critical acclaim at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, the Royal Festival Hall, London, the Grand Theatre Blackpool, and have also played to sell-out audiences at the Chichester Festivities, the Edinburgh Festival, the Corsham Festival, the Devizes Festival, and the Buxton Festival, and appear regularly on radio, notably appearing on many of the BBC Radio stations throughout the UK, including BBC London, BBC Solent, BBC Bristol, BBC Lancashire, and BBC Scotland. Their current schedule includes appearances at the King's Theatre, Edinburgh, the Newark Palace Theatre, and the Epsom Playhouse, as well as return visits to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, the Queens Hall, Hexham, the Georgian Theatre Royal and of course, the National Theatre of Variety, Blackpool's Grand Theatre.
