Susannah starred in the first dramatisation of The Wings of The Dove in London's West end in 1963 with Wendy Hiller and James Donald; it then toured throughout the UK and played the Grand Theatre in 1964.
Susannah York is one of this country's most prolific actresses; her extensive credits include A Man For All Seasons, The Waiting Game, Superman and They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, for which she received an Oscar nomination. She most recently won a Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for Images.
Susannah's co-star in this production is Daniel Casey. Daniel is best known for his portrayal of Sergeant Gavin Troy in Midsomer Murders, a role he played between 1997 and 2003. Prior to Midsomer Murders, he was seen regularly on television screens in such series as Peak Practice, The Grand, The Bill, A Touch of Frost and Silent Witness. He was most recently seen in Doctors, Steel River Blues and the series Hex.
