The Palm Springs Art Museum’s Artists Council has announced the 2007-2008 Art Workshops schedule featuring a wide variety of stimulating classes for everyone from the beginning watercolorist to the seasoned printmaker.

Classes range from life drawing, creative painting and assemblage to digital photography, photo book making and mixed media monoprinting. The instructors include established local and national artists such as Brian Biedul, Kwok Wai Lau, and Charlie Ciali.

Anyone is welcome to register for the classes but Museum members receive discounted prices.

The classes are coordinated yearly by the Artists Council in support of the Palm Springs Art Museum. Artists may become active members of the Artists Council by joining the Palm Springs Art Museum, applying for Council membership, and paying yearly dues. The Artists Council holds two juried competitions per year resulting in exhibitions in the Museum. -- www.psmuseum.org
