Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company sold 149,631 vehicles from January to August, up 22.1 percent from a year earlier, of which sales of heavy duty commercial vehicles grew 48.7 percent to 82,653 units in the period, it said in a statement.
For the month of August, its commercial vehicle sales reached 9,716 units, of which 5,277 units were heavy duty vehicles.
The CV company said that by August it had achieved 79.85 percent of its sales target set for this year.
