
Mercedes-Benz China Ltd announced recently that sales of Mercedes-Benz brand cars in China's mainland soared 52 percent in the first 11 months of this year to 35,200 vehicles, reaching its yearly sales target one month in advance, a China daily report said.
Sales of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class rose 44 percent year on year to 13,000 units, and sales of the SUV lineup surged more than 100 percent.
Also as of the end of November, the German auto giant has delivered 3,000 units of its roadsters to the Chinese mainland.
In the first eleven months of this year China sold more than 6.16 million units of passenger cars, up 8.87 percent from a year earlier.
