GM's Troy Clarke to Lead Corvette Racing Pep Rally

Chevrolet is pleased to welcome racing’s return to the Motor City as Corvette Racing and the American Le Mans Series make their inaugural appearance racing right in our own backyard at the 2007 Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix August 31-September 2.

Join GM North America President Troy Clarke, along with Chevrolet General Manager Ed Peper, as they lead GM employees and Corvette enthusiasts in a pep rally cheering on Corvette Racing’s own drivers Oliver Gavin, Olivier Beretta, Johnny O’Connell, Jan Magnussen, Ron Fellows and Max Papis for Corvette Racing’s inaugural appearance at the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. Special guests include Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix Chairman Bud Denker and American Le Mans Series President Scott Atherton. The public is invited to attend on Tuesday, August 28

11:30 am—Corvette Racing pep rally

at GM Global Headquarters at the Renaissance Center; GM Plaza on the River Walk; Detroit, Mich. A media check-in will be located in the GM Wintergarden at the Atwater Street entrance. -GM news
