Following approval from the Board of Directors, Acer reports the financial results for the first half of 2007. Operating income was NT$3.91B (US$119.41M), profit after tax (PAT) was NT$7.65B (US$233.54M) and earnings per share (EPS) was NT$3.23.
PAT rose to NT$7.65B (US$233.54M), up from NT$7.1B (US$216.98M) on year; EPS was NT$3.23, up from NT$3.09 on year; operating income was NT$3.91B (US$119.41M), an increase of 13.6% over 1H2006's NT$3.44B (US$105.09M). Consolidated revenues reached NT$193.03B (US$5.9B), rising 23.9% from last year's NT$155.85B (US$4.76B).
For Q2 2007, Acer's consolidated revenue reached NT$93.52B (US$2.86B), growing 28.4% from last year's NT$72.86B (US$2.23B). Operating income was NT$1.96B (US$59.9M), an increase of 29.4% over NT$1.52B (US$46.31M) for 2Q06. Operating margin was 2.1%.
Q2 2007 PAT was NT$1.98B (US$60.58M) and EPS was NT$0.76. -Acer
