Xyratex Ltd., a leading provider of enterprise class data storage subsystems and storage process technology, today announced an OEM agreement with Chinese storage technology provider StorSky, expanding Xyratex’s growing foothold in the Asian market.
StorSky will leverage Xyratex RAID technology to offer its customers cost-effective, high-availability storage systems that can be deployed across a variety of environments. The Xyratex F5402E RAID storage subsystem will specifically support StorSky’s range of storage software solutions, including its clustered file systems, virtualization and utilities computing, and its multi-media data storage and processing software.

Based on the success we have seen so far, we are evaluating both the high-density Xyratex F5404E RAID and SAS EBOD products for future integration.”
