It Is McCain-Palin 08 For The GOP VP Ticket

"This is the biggest political gamble in American political History," said MSNBC's Pat Buchannan. Once a runner-up in the Miss Alaska pageant, Governor Sarah Palin would be the first woman Vice President of John McCain, if elected.

The 44-year-old staunch conservative Sarah Palin has a high approval rating with her constituents in Alaska, after serving office for a year and a half. Palin opposes gay marriage. She is a right-to-life feminist. She is a mom with five kids.

Sarah Palin, three years younger than Barack Obama, a relatively unknown Conservative, John McCain has chosen the hockey mom in hopes that she will repeat the winning history, following her 2006 campaign for Governor.

The interesting and surprising choice John McCain will undoubtedly spin the media's wheels as Alaska Governor Palin prepares to speak in Ohio.
