• Revenues of Rich List companies grew by 9.2 per cent in 2006 to £33.7 Billion

• Increase in consolidation sees 10 per cent of the companies new to the list

(LONDON, UK - 31 August 2007) Channel Business Solutions, the UK monthly magazine for IT and communications suppliers, has announced its 2007 Rich List. Comprising the top 250-reseller organisations in the UK by revenue, it utilises data from IT Europa - the leading provider of business intelligence on the European ICT marketplace – to profile the top channel organisations based on their revenue.

Sponsored by Avaya, the Rich List 2007 shows a maturing industry in good health. Revenues of the top 250 resellers grew by 9.2% in 2006 to £33.7 Billion, well above the industry average of 3.6% (EITO).

Channel Business Solutions' Editor, Christine Horton, says: ”Putting this list together, a number of themes became apparent – most noticeably the increase in mergers and acquisitions within the UK channel over the past year. In fact 10 per cent of the companies are new to the list as a result of the consolidation that has marked the industry of late.
