He was admitted on Friday night, and after an examination --- which found no broken bones --- he was given the option of being released or remaining in the hospital overnight. Due to the lateness of the hour, Graham chose to stay rather than make the trip back home.
Graham asked Mission Hospital of Asheville, N.C. to release a statement on his progress, they issued a press release.
His most recent visit to Mission was was in February for elective replacement of the brain shunt that maintains normal pressure within his head.
Graham will celebrate his 90th birthday on Nov. 7th.
