Robert “Bob” Crowley, a 57-year-old physics teacher from Maine was named the winner of the 17th season of Survivor on Sunday night.

As the winner of Survivor: Gabon, Crowley will take home a $1 million prize. At 57, he is the oldest ever Survivor winner.

The two runners-up were Susie Smith, the 47-year-old hairdresser-homemaker from Charles City, Iowa, and Jessica Kiper, the 29-year-old blonde pinup model from Brooklyn.

Earlier in the Survivor: Gabon finale Kenny Hoang, a 22-year-old professional video gamer from Westminster, Calif., and Matty Whitmore, a 29-year-old personal trainer from Pacific Palisades, Calif. were dropped from the "game."

As always, the Survivor: Gabon winner was chosen by a seven-member jury of previously expelled contestants. In that last tribal council voting, Bob edged out Susie, 4 votes to 3, with Jessica snagging zero votes.
