Single $163M Powerball winner sold, in Indiana

Winning numbers were 2, 5, 9, 23, 59 and Powerball 26. The winning ticket was sold at a Circle K store on Eads Parkway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

The Powerball lottery is a multi-state lottery, and odds of being the winner are 195 million to one.

The Powerball lottery runs in the following states: Arizona, Connecticut, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

The last Powerball Jackpot winner was on Nov. 22nd, 2008, when winners claimed a $30.8 million lump payout on the $57.6 million prize.

The jackpot returns to $20 million for the next drawing, on Wednesday.
