It was either a whirlwind courtship, or they have been dating a lot longer than we knew about it. Less than a week Page Six revealed that Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss and Saturday Night Live's Fred Armisen were dating, Moss' publicist has confirmed that the actors are engaged.
"It happened just a few days ago — you’re actually the first press person I’ve told this to," Elizabeth Moss said. "It’s private, so I don’t want to share the details of how it happened, but I will say it was perfect.”
Moss and Armisen were seen recently together at the Vanity Fair party for Mad Men, and also at her Broadway production, Speed-the-Plow, leading to the dating speculation, prior to its confirmation.
Elzabeth Moss is up for the TV drama actress award at Sunday's Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards for her Mad Men role as Peggy. We will likely see Armisen accompany her and a huge rock on her finger.
There was no mention of a date or anyhing, but with the speed of the engagement, one has to wonder just how good they are at keeping secrets, how / when they met, how long they've been dating, and the like.
