Former Teammate to Testify Against Barry Bonds

Bobby Estalella, a former teammate of all-time home run king Barry Bonds, is set to testify against him regarding steroid use.

According to ESPN, Bobby Estalella, who was a catcher on the San Francisco Giants with Bonds in 2000 and 2001, will testify to firsthand knowledge that Bonds used steroids.

You'll recall that the government is attempting to convict Barry Bonds on perjury charges. In its indictment, the government alleges that Bonds lied when he testified that he was not receiving performance-enhancing drugs from Anderson in 2001.

During the BALCO investigation, Bobby Estalella admitted to a grand jury that he had used the "cream," the "clear" and HGH. These were provided to him by Greg Anderson, Bonds' personal trainer.

At the same time, the New York Times stated that Jason and Jeremy Giambi will also testify at Barry Bonds' trial.
