This Friday the 13th looks to be a reboot of the original franchise, which spanned many years and too many movies to count. In the original Friday the 13th, we didn't even see Jason. Anyone remember that?

  • Walking under a ladder
  • It is also believed that if you were to step on a crack, your mother would then break her back.
  • Spilling salt is said to cause a fight or argument during the day
  • Breaking a mirror is considered to cause 7 years of bad luck
  • Black cats
  • In Scotland, a storm petrel indicates someone will die soon
  • A horseshoe placed above the doorway is said to collect luck when positioned upwards like a "U". In the opposite direction, it drains luck away
