Rihanna, Chris Brown Reconcile

Less than 3 weeks after he allegedly beat singer Rihanna, 21, Chris Brown, 19, has apparently reconciled with her, according to a People report.

Both Chris Brown and Rihanna were scheduled to appear at the Grammy Awards on the evening of Feb. 8th. However, they both cancelled, because of what was first reported to be a car accident, but was later revealed to be domestic violence.

Photographs of Rihanna with a bruised and battered face were later leaked. Yet, despite all this, Chris Brown is back together with her. Why would that be?

Psychologists will say that many battered women (and men) will end up going back to their partner. The partner will say it will never happen again, but frequently, it will.

At any rate, People reported that a source indicated that Chris Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday one week ago.

"He called to wish her happy birthday. They've reached out to each other. It's been mutual."

Yes, that would be the normal course of events in a domestic violence case. But if indeed he wants to be with her, he needs to get counseling, now.
