But more than that, Adamo is a brand, not just a single product. That's something to keep in mind. something that Dell keeps emphasizing.
The Adamo sports a chassis milled from a single piece of aluminum featuring precision detailing and a scalloped backlit keyboard. Does that sound like anything MacBook-ish to anyone?
Additionally, the Adamo will have a 13.4"16:9 high definition edge-to-edge glass display, a thin 0.65-inch profile and a weight of just four pounds. Even the cooling vents are ... well, cool looking, almost grill-like.
Spec-wise:
One thing to note is that the integrated Intel graphics put the Adamo at a major disadvantage compared to the NVIDIA graphics in the MacBook Air.

Also (U.S. only), you even have access to an exclusive line of bags from TUMI.
You also get Adamo Premium Service (again U.S. only, sorry) which means 24/7 access to Dell's best trained technicians, and consistent communication with a dedicated personal team.
The bad thing about this announcement: Dell chose a really bad day for announcing Dell Adamo. Once 10 AM PDT rolls around, all talk will be about the iPhone OS 3.0, and the Adamo will be lost in the excitement over Apple's announcement.
Oh, well. Enjoy thinking Adamo until then!
