Western Regional: At the University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ, it will be the Connecticut Huskies vs. the Purdue Boilermakers, at 7:07PM EDT.
The #1 Western Regional ranked Huskies are 29-4, but slightly distracted, as they chase their third national title. A Yahoo! Sports report stated that UConn broke NCAA rules when it recruited former basketball player Nate Miles. Oh, oh.
The Boilermakers (27-9) are #5 in the Western Regional, and they haven't been this far in the NCAA tourney since 2000, so they have to have very little pressure on themselves.
Later that night, at 9:37PM EDT, it will be two sets of Tigers, Missouri (3) vs. Memphis (2). Missouri is 30-6 and Memphis is 30-6.
East Regional: At TD Banknorth Garden, Boston, MA, Xavier (4) vs. Pittsburgh (1) at 7:27PM EDT.
Pittsburgh is 30-4 while Xavier is 27-7.
Later that night, at 9:57PM EDT, it will be Duke (2) and Villanova (3). Duke is 30-6, and Villanova is 28-7.
