Bad Taste or "House" Shocker as Dr. Kutner (Kal Penn) Kills Himself

And therein lies the question about poor taste. Fresh from a weekend with shootings in New York; Pittsburgh, PA; and Washington state, was this a good time to air the Kal Penn / Lawrence Kutner suicide episode?

In the past, other TV shows have delayed airing episodes that seemed too close to recent tragic events. Given the fact that both the Washington state and New York incidents involved eventual gunmen suicides, once again: was this the time to air the Kal Penn / Lawrence Kutner suicide episode?

At any rate, I'm not going to give anything away about the episode itself. It is humorous that around the web the question of "did Kal Penn die?" seems to be ringing long and hard despite the fact that no, a character, Lawrence Kutner, on a TV show died, not the real person.
