Mom Kills Son, Herself at Florida Gun Range

The incident took place at the Shoot Straight shooting range in Casselberry, FL on Monday afternoon. Casselberry Police Lt. Dennis Stewart said:

"Nobody knows why. There was no argument or anything before."

However, according to the police report, Marie Moore's ex-husband (and Mitchell Moore's father) told police that she had a history of mental illness, and that he thought she had been banned from the shooting range because he thought she had tried to kill herself there a few years ago.

A security video shows Marie Moore walking up behind Mitchell Moore and shooting him in the head. She then put the barrel of her gun into her mouth and fired. She later died at a hospital.
