Paparazzi Spook Madonna's Horse, Causing Fall

Madonna was taken to Southampton Hospital with minor injuries and bruises; she had been riding at the Bridgehampton farm of celebrity photographer Steven Klein.

Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg claimed the accident occurred when the horse the Material Girl was riding was frightened by photographers, who jumped out of some bushes in an attempt to snap a pic.

In 2005, Madonna cracked three ribs and broke her hand and collarbone in a riding accident at her estate just outside London. That accident occurred on her 47th birthday, and the horse she was riding at the time was a gift from her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie.

While the injuries appear minor, Rosenberg added that "Madonna will be having further tests and will continue to remain under observation by doctors."
