Michael Landon’s Eldest Son Mark, Dead at 60

Mark Landon, adopted son of late actor Michael Landon (pictured), has died at the age of 60.

According to the report from the LA County Sheriff's Department, there was "no indication of foul play" in the death of Mark Landon. Mark Landon was the son of Dodie Fraser, who married Michael Landon in 1956. The actor adopted Mark and his younger brother Josh. Michael Landon later divorced Dodie Fraser in 1962.

Michael Landon was once one of Hollywood's biggest TV stars. He is best known for his 14 years as "Little Joe" Cartwright in TV's long-running "Bonanza." He also had later starring roles and later as Charles Ingalls in nine seasons of "Little House on the Prairie" and five seasons as an angel on "Highway to Heaven."

Michael Landon was diagnosed with pncreatic cancer in April of 1991. He died of the disease in July 1991.

Mark Landon had only minor acting roles according to IMDB. He appeared in "Goodbye America," "Us," and "Double Edge."
