Michael Jackson Rushed to Hospital

Superstar (or at least, former superstar) singer Michael Jackson, 50, has been rushed to the hospital, according to numerous reports. Paramedics called to his home found him not breathing, a Los Angeles Fire Department captain told the Los Angeles Times.

Capt. Steve Ruda said paramedics responded to a call at Jackson's home around 12:26 PM. The parademics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the LA Times.

Separately, the gossip site TMZ said that Michael Jackson had suffered a heart attack. None of this, of course, has been confirmed.

Michael Jackson has been rehearsing for a series of 50 sold-out shows in London's O2 Arena. Michael Jackson has not released a studio album or played a full concert since 2001. His last major tour was the HIStory World Tour in 1996-1997.

Since then his career has been overshadowed by scandals, including changes to his appearance, accusations of child molestation, possible bankruptcy, and more.
