Jon Gosselin Engaged to Hailey Glassman: Report

Earlier reports pointed a finger squarely at Hailey Glassman's ring finger last weekend. It seems now that In Touch Weekly is saying that Jon Gosselin, 32, has positively gotten engaged to his 22-year-old girlfriend.

Apparently, Jon Gosselin gave Hailey Glassman a $180,000 ring. Does that mean that TLC pays better than I thought they did? That's one hunk of change.

Seriously, though, he'd best be careful. As I wrote earlier, she was busted by cops for possession of marijuana, hashish and hashish oil in 2005.

Additionally, let's face it: they should be in two different worlds in terms of their life experience and what really, really is important to them. I'd like to think one of Jon Gosselin's priorities is his kids; hard to see how Hailey Glassman would like being the step-mom to eight.

According to the source for In Touch Weekly:

“They started dating two months ago and they both just knew the other was the one instantly."

"The one" could mean different things to different people, however. In Touch Weekly found people who knew Hailey Glassman in college who say that she's "fame-hungry" and "she's with him to use his money."

Jon Gosselin had better watch out, but it looks like it's too late, at leat $180,000-wise.
