Ex-NFL QB Michael Vick is back. He's been released from home confinement, where he's been since May, after spending 18 months at the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas.

With this, Michael Vick no longer has to wear the electronic monitor he’s had while under home confinement. He also can rejoin the NFL, if he's allowed back in, that is.

Michael Vick hopes to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell soon. Goodell has previously said he would review Vick’s status after his release. Of course, if Vick is able to return to the NFL, it won’t be with Atlanta. The Falcons released him in June.

Michael Vick was convicted of facilitating, hosting, and bankrolling dogfighting rings. He will be on probation for the next three years. He also is under a three-year suspended sentence for a state dogfighting conviction.

Some fans will undoubtedly embrace his return, if it happens. Teams as well as fans are usually forgiving of a talented player, but this crime has surely stirred the anger of many. What do you readers think? Would you watch and cheer for Michael Vick?
