Alexis Cohen, Former American Idol Contestant, Found Dead

Alexis Cohen he was found unconscious around 4 AM in Seaside Heights, NJ. A resident of Allentown, PA, she was pronounced dead at 6:35 AM.

Autopsy reports show Alexis Cohen's death was caused by injuries to the head, abdomen and chest, he said. Her death has been listed as vehicular homicide.

She didn't succeed in her auditions, but she surely gained notoriety in her American Idol Season 7 audition. After being rejected, she promised she was going to be an actor (not actress) and the she would be victorious.

Alexis Cohen also slammed Simon Cowell, who is known for his acerbic "reviews" of those who audition for "American Idol," and who compared her to Willem Dafoe after she left the stage.

Alexis Cohen also capped things off by flipping off the camera, after asking several times "why do I feel like flipping off the camera." I guess that answered that question.
