Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Falls Off Stage

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has been hospitalized after reportedly falling off stage during a concert. The concert was taking place at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.

Apparently the sound system failed, during the song "Love in an Elevator." Steven Tyler, 61, tried to entertain the crowd with inpromptu dancing, and fell off the stage when he stepped backward off the stage's catwalk.

According to reports, while up on a catwalk Steven Tyler toppled backwards and fell. Tyler stood right back up as security guards rushed in. The crowd cheered, but does anyone remember Natasha Richardson?

Right, no sense taking chances. Security personnel escorted Steven Tyler backstage around 12:15 AM, and shortly after Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry came out and announced Tyler was being taken to the hospital and that they would not be able to continue with the show.

Steven Tyler was airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital. It appears he is OK after the fall; he was treated for minor neck and head injuries.
