Obama Administration Opens Health Care Reform Anti-Fiction Website

The GOP and health insurance companies are combining to misinform the public, telling them out-and-out lies about health care reform in a bid to scare them. On Monday, the Obama administration opened a new Reality Check site, http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck/, designed to give Americans the truth about the debate.

Additionally, FactCheck.org, which is a nonpartisan, nonprofit "consumer advocate" for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics, offers the same information, and (wow!) where it overlaps has the same information about the debate as the Obama administration. I will admit, not everything is all wine and roses, but looking at things objectively, conservatives and insurance companies are lying blatantly about many things; Obama is not.

Here are some facts, not "death panel" lies.

There is no euthanasia ("death panel") planned for seniors. FactCheck.org, Reality Check.

Wait Lists causing deaths - no. FactCheck.org

Loss of choice - no. Reality Check.

Rationing ("death panel") - no. Reality Check. Does anyone with any degree of common sense really think any government would do this???? Use your common sense.

Look over both FactCheck.org and Reality Check. See the truth, and don't be frightened by the lies being put out by the right-wing.
