Reality TV Contestant Sought in Jasmine Fiore's Death

Although the top trend in Google is Jasmine Fiore Playboy, this story is less about human beauty and more about the darkness in the souls of humanity. Jasmine Fiore's body was found in a suitcase by someone dumpster-diving in Orange County over the weekend.

In fact, Jasmine Fiore, 28, never posted for Playboy, but rather, worked for them promoting the company's golfing events. She was a model at one time, however. Her mother indicated she quit 2 years ago.

Meanwhile, in a story that seems out of reality TV, but in terms of one of those real-life forensics shows, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, 32, had had two stints in reality TV. His connection to Jasmine Fiore is the key, as the two had a stormy on-off relationship that has led to him being the prime suspect in her murder.

Jasmine Fiore and Ryan Alexander Jenkins met in March at a Las Vegas casino where Jenkins was partying after wrapping up "Millionaire." Apparently, as they were in the town of quickie weddings, they got married on March 18, according to a Clark County marriage certificate.

But in May, they had a huge fight, according to Jasmine Fiore's mother, Lisa Lepore. Fiore had the marriage annulled.

Jasmine Fiore was last seen alive with Jenkins at a poker game in San Diego. On Saturday night, Jenkins reported her missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, police said.

Jenkins appeared in three episodes of the VH1 reality series "Megan Wants a Millionaire." That show centered around a woman seeking to land a wealthy bachelor by putting suitors through their paces, sort of an "Apprentice" for marriage. Jenkins reported also went to Mexico to do another reality TV show. It is not clear which show he appeared
on.

Past records show that Court records show Jenkins was charged in June in Clark County, NV, with a misdemeanor count of "battery constituting domestic violence." If you're wondering, that was based on accusations that he hit Jasmine Fiore in the arm. He is scheduled for a Dec. 18 non-jury trial.

Further back, perhaps a history of violence is shown by a January 2007 unspecified assault charge. Jenkins was sentenced to 15 months of probation in his hometown of Calgary, Canada.

With regards to Jenkins, Chief Inspector Thomas Hession from the U.S. Marshals Service said, "Anybody that assists him, helps him in any way, is also subject to being charged as aiding and abetting and harboring a fugitive, so I would suggest to anybody out there that is looking to assist this individual, that they don't."

Reports indicate that Jenkins, who is thought to be armed, drove 1,000 miles to the state of Washington, took a boat to a peninsula on the border, where he walked into Canadian territory. A Canadian police official said they are actively searching for him.

It's still not clear how Jasmine Fiore died, although a preliminary coroner's report indicated she was strangled. What is known is that here teeth had been removed and her fingers cut off, apparently in an attempt to make it difficult to identify her.
