Kevin Skinner Wins America's Got Talent

It seems rather anticlimactic compared to Britain's Got Talent (with Susan Boyle coming in second), but season 4 of "America's Got Talent" is over. Your winner: Kevin Skinner.

You read that correctly. Kevin Skinner, the 35-year-old country singer (and chicken catcher), Kevin Skinner, from Mayfield, KY, won season four of “America's Got Talent” over opera singer and cancer survivor Bárbara Padilla, 36, of Houston, TX.

Kevin Skinner now gets $1 million. He will also headline his own show on the Las Vegas strip.

An interesting twist: just before Kevin Skinner was announced as the winner, “Britain's Got Talent” runner-up Susan Boyle debuted her Rolling Stones cover song, "Wild Horses.” It was her first performance in the United States.

According to the New York Post, Boyle's appearance was actually taped Tuesday night before a specially invited audience. It wasn't live.
