Patriots vs. Jets Game Ends in a Shocker

The invincibility of the New England Patriots seems to have ended with their loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII. Last year, they had to play the season without Tom Brady, a good reason for them to fail to make the Super Bowl. This year, Brady's back, but those expecting a typical end to the Patriots vs. the Jets were surprised.

The Jets are relying on a rookie QB, Mark Sanchez. He led them to an opening game win, but how could you expect a rookie to go up against veteran Tom Brady and come away with a win? Well, he did, as Patriots vs. Jets ended 16 - 9.

Mark Sanchez was 14 / 22 for 163 yards and 1 TD for a QB rating of 101.1. The team finished with 254 yards of total offense.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady was 23/47 for 216 yards and 1 INT, and only a 53.1 QB rating. The team finished with 299 yards of total offense.

The Jets are now 2-0. This was their first victory over the Patriots (1-1) at home in nine games.
