In the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now), Mackenzie Phillips 41-year-old half-sister Chynna Phillips of the hit 90s group Wilson Phillips tells her side of the story.
Chynna Phillips told Us Weekly of when she was first told by Mackenzie of the affair. It was in 1997, 11 years after the affair had ended, while she was between flights at LaGuardia Airport in New York City.
On that day, Chynna received a call from Mackenzie Phillips, and she told Chynna of her incestuous 10 year relationship with their father.
Later in life, Mackenzie Phillips confronted her father John Phillips, who died in March 2001, about the incident, saying "We have to talk about when you raped me." He replied, "You mean when we made love?" which is a sick way of looking at things.
