The tiebreaker will be Tuesday at the Metrodome. Twins tickets went on sale at the box office as soon as the Sunday game ended. Thing is, the Metrodome is probably already a popular place what with the Vikings - GB Game, and Brett Favre's grudge match Monday night against the Packers.
For those Tigers or Twins fans wanting tickets, Metrodome ticket offices will open again at 8 AM. Monday, and will remain open until the start the Vikings-Packers game at 7:30 PM. Fans can also purchase tickets online at twinsbaseball.com.
Tigers or Twins fans purchasing tickets can pick them up at will-call Monday through the start of the Vikings-Packers game, and then again after 8 AM Tuesday.
Detroit is hoping to win its first division title since 1987. They will start 20-year-old rookie RHP Rick Porcello (14-9, 4.04 ERA) against RHP Scott Baker (15-9, 4.36 ERA).
The loser goes home, there's no wild-card chance. Boston has already clinched the wild-card.
