When it comes to products, books, songs, or whatever, an endorsement by Oprah Winfrey is sheer gold. And when people say "gold" they mean gold in terms of money, as interest and sales always rises when an Oprah mention is made.
Today's Oprah show highlighted the song "Grace," which was performed by BeBe and CeCe Winans. You can watch a live performance of the song here (not the Oprah performance).
"Grace" is taken from their recently released album "Still." It ios the second single to be revealed, following "Close To You."
BeBe & CeCe Winans is an American Gospel music brother and sister duo. In 1996 they officially parted ways to pursue solo careers, but "Still" brought the duo back together. The album's lead single "Close To You," released June 2009, remained at #1 on gospel radio charts for several weeks.
The last product to receive an "Oprah effect" plug on her show were CJ Jeans by Cookie Johnson. Designed by the wife of former LA Laker star Magic Johnson, CJ Jeans received a huge boost with the Oprah mention as her "favorite jeans," and shot to the top of search results.
CJ Jeans by Cookie Johnson are designed for the curvaceous woman. Note, that means curvaceous, as in Marilyn Monroe, not overweight or fat.
