The Adam Lambert AMA Performance shows a bit of "rough and tumbleness," and perhaps a bit of annoyance over his American Idol loss. However, it was very well received by the audience.
The Adam Lambert VMA Performance closed the show at last night's American Music Awards. In doing so, he gave the East Coast something the West Coast didn't get to see. He gave the audience the finger, which was censored out by ABC for the West Coast.
Other things that weren't censored out by the ABC censors of the Adam Lambert VMA performance by ABC, but were very provocative nonetheless, were Lambert kissing his male keyboardist, grinding a dancer's head against his pelvis, and grabbing the crotch of another.
Some have taken the time to blast the Adam Lambert VMA performance, but others have commented that as a TV event, it was spectacular. While Barbara Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck slammed Lambert on this morning’s The View, with Elisabeth saying “there was a sexual aggression there,” in terms of keeping Lambert in the public's eye and adding controversy at the same time, it was "right on."
