Mya, Donny, or Kelly, who will win Dancing With The Stars 2009? The winner won't be crowned until Tuesday night, but after Monday's performance, it seems we have a clear favorite to win.
Mya and Dmitry, Donny and Kym Johnson, and Kelly and Louis van Amstel performed three dances Monday night. The combination of their scores from those dances will be combined with viewer votes and added to a final set of judges' scores for Tuesday night's performance to crown the winner of Dancing With The Stars 2009.
Additionally, Tuesday's Dancing With The Stars 2009 show will feature a singer to share the dance floor with Mya, Donny, and Kelly. Indeed, Whitney Houston will appear on the finale.
As the Dancing with the Stars 2009 producers announced on Monday, Whitney Houston, American Music Awards winner of the International Artist of the Year, will be featured on the last episode. Additionally, Tom Delay, who had to drop out of the competition earlier in the season because of stress fractures in his feet, will also be featured on the final show.
As a result of the Monday scoring, the standings are as following in Dancing with the Stars 2009: Mya is two points ahead of Donny, and Donny is nine points ahead of Kelly. With one dance and viewer voting all that's left, Kelly is probably stuck where she is, in third place. And with Mya only two points ahead of Donny, there's a good chance that viewer voting could put Donny over the top.
Still, it's not over until the fat lady sings. Donny's a fan favorite though, so if it remains close among the judge's voting, Donny's going to take the trophy. Results will be shown tomorrow night on the final episode of Dancing with the Stars 2009.
