Forget Black Friday As Cyber Monday 2009 Deals Emerge

Black Friday is the biggest retail shopping day of the year, and that means Black Friday Deals, Black Friday Ads, and Black Friday doorbusters are all the rage. However, if you want to shop via the comfort of your home, using your PC, it's Cyber Monday 2009 Deals that you care about, not Black Friday deals.

There are some who are frightened that being crowded into a small space (or even a large mob) with many people around you can expose you to H1N1 swine flu. With shortages of both Tamiflu and H1N1 swine flu vaccines, it is a valid concern. There is speculation that Cyber Monday 2009 Deals will draw people to the safety of their PC, and partially derail Black Friday, while at the same time boosting Cyber Monday. This could in fact be the biggest Cyber Monday of all time, and even without concerns over H1N1 swine flu, Cyber Monday has been gaining popularity every year.

In addition to the fact that you can avoid infection, or at least, the risk of infection, Cyber Monday 2009 Deals add three more bonuses. For one, there's no driving and thus no gas involved. Secondly, there's no sales tax at many online stores (but not all!). Finally, there's no waiting in lines, although it is possible to see sites crash with overly anxious shoppers.

Many people in the U.S. still do not have broadband, so Cyber Monday is named because it is the first Monday after Thanksgiving. That also means it is the first work day after Thanksgiving, and given that, many people will have access to the broadband they don't have at home.

A few leaks and rumors on Cyber Monday 2009 Deals, so far: Walmart is expected to offer up to 75 percent off certain televisions. That's right, one of the big retailers, already gearing up for Black Friday Deals, will be offering Cyber Monday deals. Game Stop is offering $5 off the Nintendo Wii Perfect Shot.

Target Online will have Cyber Monday 2009 Deals as well, with offers of up to 70 percent off on some items, with free shipping on some items. As well, Target will post daily online deals in the two weeks between Nov. 29 to Dec. 12, with up to 50 percent off regular prices for housewares, electronics, toys and other categories for that specific day.

Toys R Us won't pass up the chance to have Cyber Monday 2009 deals, iether. The company will offer a DJ Hero Bundle for $99, down from $119.99. Action figures will get some heavy discount action, with 75 percent off many; and there will be a buy-2-get-1 free offer on Nerf Blasters as well.

Sears and K-Mart are also in the Cyber Monday 2009 deal group. Use the coupon code KMART5OFF50 to receive $5 off an order of $50 or more, plus get free shipping (some exclusions apply) at K-Mart. Use the code SEARS5OFF50 to get $5 off any purchase of $50 or more on Cyber Monday plus get free shipping (some exclusions apply) at Sears.

What about the biggest online retailer of all, Amazon.com? Black Friday Deals Week has started, but there's no sign of Cyber Monday 2009 deals on their site, yet. However, there is no doubt that Amazon will be a big player among Cyber Monday 2009 deal makers.

Cyber Monday 2009 Deals and Ads are leaking out, just as Black Friday 2009 Deals and Ads did. There will be updates as more information is leaked. Some retailers will be secretive and hold things close to the vest until actual Cyber Monday hits, so be aware. As shown above, many of the Black Friday retailers will offer Cyber Monday deals, too, so don't think Black Friday is your only change for mega-deals.
