It's a banner week for Cleveland QB Brady Quinn with this news. Earlier this week, he had the first 300-yard game of his career and the first 4-TD passing game of his career. Alicia Sacramone is a world-class gymnest, by the way.
Alicia Sacramone revealed the news in an interview she conducted with USA Gymnastics. There, she said she's now both a football and Browns fan after dating Brady Quinn.
Alicia Sacramone is 21, which is a little on the old side for a gymnast. She's currently involved in a comeback, despite that. At the 2008 Olympic games, she was a member of the team which won a silver team medal, and just missed winning an individual medal by placing fourth place in the vault event.
In terms of world championship placings, Alicia Sacramone has won seven career world medals, including two gold, three silver and two bronze. At the 2007 World Championships, she helped the U.S. women win only their second world team title in history.
Vault was a specialty for Alicia Sacramone. In fact, she won four consecutive U.S. vault titles from 2005-08. She also took first in 2005-06 in U.S. floor exercise. Additionally, she was named USA Gymnastics' Sportswoman of the Year three consecutive years (2005-07).
Alicia Sacramone retired after the 2008 Olympic Games. She has announced her comeback to the sport and is targeting the 2010 Visa Championships.
Interestingly, previously Alicia Sacramone dated a football player from Brown University. It seems, with an NFL QB on her arm, she has traded up.
