Walmart Black Friday deals abound, and many have been leaked via the Internet. However, now some online Black Friday deals have been announced, turning Black Friday into a sort of Cyber Friday.
Cyber Monday is the first Monday after Thanksgiving. It's so named because as the first day 'back to business,' it's also the first day that many have access to high-speed broadband for online shopping. It's debatable whether or not this is true any longer, as broadband continues to spread across the U.S.
Walmart Black Friday deals being listed online means that you don't have to stand in line, risking both life (via swine flu) and limb (via trampling) at a Walmart store. Of course, those are both fairly unlikely conditions, but still possible. The trampling death did happen to an employee at a Walmart store last year.
The Walmart Black Friday deals currently listed online are TV deals, and are not available until Nov. 27th, Black Friday. Some retailers are releasing Black Friday deals early, but these Walmart Black Friday deals are indeed targeted for that day.
The list is:
RCA 46" Widescreen 1080p LCD HDTV - $688
Samsung 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV - $398
Samsung 40" Widescreen 1080p LCD HDTV - $598
Samsung 42" Widescreen Plasma HDTV - $548
Samsung 46" Widescreen 1080p LCD HDTV - $848
Samsung 50" Widescreen Plasma HDTV - $698
Samsung BD-P1590 Blu-ray Disc Player - $148
Sony BDP-S369 Blu-ray Disc Player - $148
Take the opportunity to shop online on Friday at Walmart.com rather than standing in line. Remember, however, that the Walmart Black Friday deals, online or not, are limited in quantity.
