Black Friday Online Deals Fill Inboxes

If you haven't hit a retailer yet for their doorbuster sales, you should calm down, get a cup of coffee and eat some turkey, and probably forget about it. Most doorbuster deals are already gone. However, if you check your inbox, you will find plenty of Black Friday online deals and Black Friday Internet sales.

Some of the deals aren't even specific to particular items. For example, Amazon.com has a deal whereby certain items in the Apparel, Electronics, Software, Video Games, and Computers will earn $10 off when you pay with your Discover Card. Those items will be marked with a Special Offers Available tag. To be clear, there is more than one such offer at the site, so the Nintendo DS Lite game you might want on Black Friday will qualify, but that t-shirt might not.

Meanwhile, Walmart.com has Black Friday online deals as well, besides those in their stores. That might be a good thing for many, as their $98 Nintendo DS Lite Black Friday deal is already sold out. Walmart has flooded email inboxes with reminders of deals both online and in-store.

TigerDirect.com has what it calls a "Pink Friday" sale. Don't worry, it is essentially full of Black Friday online deals. TigerDirect's posting of a pink ribbon on its pages makes it clear there is a "breast cancer-centric" view to their Black Friday Internet sales. That is true; go to www.pinkfriday.org to see the full details. Systemax is the parent company of TigerDirect, Systemax PC and CompUSA (the reborn CompUSA), which are all participating.

TigerDirect.com is one of the bigger computer, software and electronics e-tailers, and most items will earn free shipping and no sales tax. The Black Friday Internet sale (or rather Pink Friday sale) will last a full 72 hours, through the weekend.

Domestications.com, an online home furnishings site is offering a Black Friday online deal on free shipping. Just enter the code D9NFREE on any order of $75 or more to access the deal.

CafePress.com, a site which specializes in shirts, cups, and other items created by individual vendors for sale, has a similar Black Friday online deal on free shipping. Just enter TGIFREE when checking out. CafePress also allows customers to create their own custom items by uploaded photos to their site.

Metrostyle, a women's fashion website is offering a Black Friday online deal for free shipping on sales above $50. You can also get an additional 30% off select items with the Promotion Code MSDOUBLE in the promo box in your shopping bag. The 30% off select items featured in the doorbuster event will be automatically applied, if eligible.

Discover Card is offering a different sort of Black Friday online deal. In fact, it's not really online, but local, but it will be delivered via your inbox, so don't miss it. Use your Discover Card for a purchase at a local store (listed in the email, with directions), and you will get a one-time $10 rebate to your Discover rewards account. You can do the purchase anytime before Dec. 31st; no limit on the purchase amount is given. In some cases, the deal even lists a gas station, which would work out as a great bargain.

Looking for a new antivirus or security suite for your PC? Trend Micro is offering 50 percent off everything through the weekend. You just need to buy through TrendMicro.com. Of course, there are plenty of free antivirus solutions, including Microsoft's, so don't forget that before you buy any antivirus software.

Smartbargains.com, which offers overstocked and other items in a variety of categories, is offering Black Friday online deals including doorbusters and free shipping. They will be refreshing their Black Friday Internet sales with fresh emails through the weekend.

Overstock.com, the king of overstocked items, has their own set of Black Friday online deals. Similar to Smartbargains, the sale incldues doorbusters and free shipping. Their email includes a 10 percent off coupon, as well.

Newegg.com has its own set of Black Friday online deals. That site, one of the larger ones on the Internet, has been having pre-Black Friday Internet sales through the week. Unlike TigerDirect.com, however, Newegg buyers from California face the specter of sales tax.

eBates.com, the online rebate store, has its own Black Friday online deals, and it doesn't even sell anything directly. When you buy at an online vendor through an eBates link, you get a rebate. eBates has many of the largest e-tailers and retailers as well. On Black Friday only, you will receive double the rebate at many stores.

Bing, the Microsoft search engine, has its own cashback component as well. Go to bing.com/cashback to access it. You receive rebates, just as with eBates. A measure of comparison shopping is required, as eBates and Bing cashback, as well as Mr. Rebates, will overlap on store coverage, but often one will offer a higher rebate than the other. Just as with eBates, Bing cashback is offering higher percentages for many stores. Fatwallet is still another cashback site.

Staples, the office retailer, has its own set of Black Friday online deals. The email from that store, which you can access on the Web at www.staples.com, includes a mystery special, as well. It's unclear if this is customized per email.

Of course, brick-and-mortar stores like Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Sears and more all have their own online stores. They also have deals, and they are emailing Black Friday online deals to inboxes, too.

Most of these Black Friday Internet sales will last through the weekend. Watch your inbox, and you will see refresh emails all weekend long. Click, and you might save quite a bit.
