It's a somewhat sad way of looking at things, but with the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) system, it's somewhat reality. With the BCS Bowl Games announced, the dregs of the College Bowl Schedule can be announced with the leftover bowl games.
While the BCS Bowl Games are the big focus in the College Bowl Schedule, the rest of the bowl games do at least one thing for the attendees. All the included schools will see a big bonus in terms of income due to being included in a bowl game.
It is unnerving to see the full list of College Bowl Games. It's not just the sheer number of college bowl games, but the sponsors. There was a time when a bowl game was just a bowl game. Now almost all bowl games have sponsors, whether they are Little Caesar's Pizza or GMAC.
