If Ochocinco Honors Henry, Union To Pay Fines

Chad Ochocinco (formerly Chad Johnson) has already asked if he could honor his friend, the late Chris Henry, by wearing his number in this week's Cincinnati Bengals game. The NFL has turned him down. However, a source says that if the already controversial Bengal pushes the envelope yet again, the union will pay his fines.
ESPN received the report from an anonymous source. The source said that the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) would be willing to pay any such fines if Ochocinco went ahead his Chris Henry tribute.
Chad Ochocinco wants to wear Chris Henry's number 15 during the Bengals - Chargers game, as he has done this week in practice. Henry died on Thursday morning after a bizarre domestic dispute, in which he jumped into a truck bed reportedly driven by his fiancee. He later fell out of the truck bed, and suffered injuries that eventually took his life.
Chad Ochocinco is no stranger to NFL controversy. He wanted to wear Ochocinco on his back to match his number, 85. The NFL would not let him do so unless his name was actually Ochocinco. Thus, Chad Johnson became Chad Ochocinco.
Cincinnati will already be wearing a decal with Chris Henry's No. 15 on their helmets, but Ochocinco wants to go further. It will be interesting to watch the game and see what he does.
Memorial services for Chris Henry will be held Tuesday in Westwego, LA, near downtown New Orleans. There will be a visitation from noon - 2 PM EST. The service will begin at 2 PM.
