No Weather Factor In Super Bowl 44

The last time the Indianapolis Colts were in the Super Bowl, it rained. While they are playing in the exact same stadium, they'll have no issues with that, as the forecast is dry and cool (for Florida, anyway).

As the Super Bowl start time of 6:25PM EST approaches, the projected temperature is 66 degrees. That is a few degrees below normal for this time of year in the Miami area.

It is expected to be dry. In 2007, when the Colts beat the Bears 29-17, it the first time rain had fallen throughout a Super Bowl.

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints are a decided underdog, as Peyton Manning and the Colts are considered unstoppable on offense. At least, the Colts are considered to be such if given enough chances.

While Brees and the Saints likely look to Super Bowl start time with some butterflies, as it is their first trip to the big show, Manning looks to cement his season with another Super Bowl win. A win would not just cap a season in which Manning won the MVP award, he would also join the short list of QBs who have multiple Super Bowl victories.

Pressure on QBs is expected to be key: will the Saints be able to put the same pressure on Manning they did to other great QBs such as Kurt Warner? Will Dwight Feeney, one of the Colts' main sack artists, be able to play?

Super Bowl start time is 6:25 PM EST. It will be broadcast on CBS.
