Maintaining it's top box office position from its opening weekend was 'Shrek: Forever After.' The final outing in the Shrek series topped both 'Sex and the City 2' and 'Prince of Persia' on Memorial Day weekend.

'Shrek' pulled in $43.3 million from Friday to Sunday. With those earnings, the film raised its domestic total to $133.1 million.

Meanwhile, Carrie and friends and 'Sex and the City 2,' was No. 2 with a $32.1 million debut. That was quite a bit below the $56.8 million opening weekend of the original movie two years ago. If you added in the $14.2 million that 'SATC2' took in on its first day Thursday, the movie has totaled $46.3 million.

Meanwhile, the latest video game turned movie was in third position. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, the Jerry Bruckheimer film 'Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time' took in $30.2 million.

Marvel’s 'Iron Man 2' hammered its way into fourth place with an estimated $16 million. In its four weekends of release, the armored superhero movie has earned $274 million, outearning the original by over $15 million at this time.

Rounding out the top 5 movies domestically was Ridley Scott's 'Robin Hood.' With a mere $10.3 million in its third weekend in theaters and a total of $86.2 million, it's uncertain that domestically the Russell Crowe film will even surpass the $100 million mark.
