You have probably heard Howard Arenstein, CBS reporter, on the radio from time to time. He probably never expected himself to be the focus of a news story, and perhaps you did not either, but he is, as of now.

Orly Katz was known professionally as Orly Azoulay. She is, according to Howard Arenstein's bio on CBS's website, a Washington correspondent for Yedioth Ahronoth, one of Israel's most widely circulated newspapers.

In addition to reporting, Howard Arenstein is the CBS Radio DC Bureau Manager. He is also the executive producer of the weekly public affairs broadcast, "The CBS News Weekend Roundup," which airs on hundreds of CBS News radio affiliates. In 2002, he won an individual Edward R. Murrow award for Feature Reporting, with a second in 2006 for his coverage of the Washington Nationals' baseball team first home game.

Howard Arenstein, Orly Katz had plants as large as 8 foot tall

According to court documents, Howard Arenstein and Orly Katz grew marijuana plants in planters outside. Some were extremely large, with a few as large as 8 feet tall. Additionally, police recovered drug paraphernalia from their home.

Howard Arenstein, 60, and his wife, Orly Katz, 57, were arrested at their home in NW Washington, DC on Saturday, after a tip from an area resident. They have been with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Both Arenstein and his wife were released on their own personal recognizance.
