Diablo III: Wrath animated short gives backstory for the upcoming game
It is exactly one week until the official release of Diablo III, and with that, Activision Blizzard has released not a trailer, but an animated short titled "Diablo III: Wrath," providing both backstory for and increasing the hype around the upcoming game.
The near seven minute video was created by Blizzard, director Peter Chung, and animation studio Titmouse. It reveals some of the lore behind the Diablo series, which encompasses Diablo, Diablo II (about 12 years ago), and the new game.
