HP

HP has the HP ENVY 17t Leap Motion Intel Core i7-4700MQ Quad 17in Laptop, on sale for $874.99 after a coupon code.

Customers will get not just $175 off with the coupon code, but free shipping, as well. The coupon code is "BUY175" and it expires on Dec. 21. HP charges sales tax in most states, as you might expect. The laptop can be accessed here.

This is an Intel Haswell-based laptop, but to be clear, that is a fourth-generation Intel Core i7 (and i7 is the top tier) processor in the laptop, so it is the current edition. The codename for these CPUs is Haswell. Several devices are still being used in laptops; with third-generation processors codenamed Ivy Bridge.

In addition to all its other specs, detailed below, the HP ENVY 17t Leap Motion Intel Core i7-4700MQ Quad 17in Laptop is the first to reach the retail market including Leap Motion's 3D motion control technology. The technology, Leap Motion says, allows users to play, create, and explore cyberspace, all by using in-air hand movements in a true 3D space. Apps are available on Airspace, Leap Motion's app store. This is, of course, still a nascent technology.

The deal's (linked above) list price is $1049.99. HP, of course, charges sales tax in most states.
